District Councillor for Aldwick East
Cllr Ashvin Patel sits on Aldwick Parish Council alongside his role as a County Councillor. Ashvin is a keen member of the Aldwick Preservation Society and is on the Committee of the Aldwick East and Marine Branch of the Association.
He plays badminton in his spare time and spends his weekends with his grandsons. Ashvin has served as a Senior Adviser on West Sussex County Council to the Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, and advises on Adult Social Care and Safeguarding.
Ashvin has been the county councillor for Bognor Regis West and Aldwick since 2013, after successfully gaining the seat from the Liberal Democrats. Ashvin was first elected to Arun District Council in 1999.
