Lynne Edwards

District Councillor for Rustington West

Cllr Lynne Edwards is Rustington born and bred, having been born at Zachary Merton Hospital, and has lived in the area for over 50 years.

She worked in both aviation and in insurance underwriting, and has run her own retail business since 1992. She currently runs her own shop, and her business experience means she has a lot to offer Arun.

Outside of work, cancer charities are dear to her heart and spends as much time as she can supporting their great work. Her priorities for Rustington are:

  1. Working hard to keep Rustington a special place to live
  2. Fighting to protect and improve our heath service
  3. Supporting businesses to keep our economy strong

Lynne was first elected as a district councillor for Rustington West in 2023.
